This week we will begin our unit on Growth and Form.
We will examine how mathematical principles (both geometric and numerical) govern and limit
growth in nature. We begin with a discussion of Rigid Motions and Symmetry.
Read: Chapter 7 sections 7.1 and 7.2 Rigid Motions and Symmetry on pages 202-224 in the textbook.
Do: Practice problems after Chapter 7: 1 - 27 odd (beginning on page 240). These problems do not need to be turned in, but should be done for practice before doing the Online homework.
