Welcome to MTH 142 General Education Statistics!
We meet on Monday/Wednesday from 2:30-3:45pm in room C168
I am so excited to work with you this semester and join you in achieving your academic and personal goals. Success is not a solo endeavor! My hopes for this class are that you embark on it with an open mind and are ready to collaborate with your peers and build lasting connections.
In this course we will investigating data. We will look at how it is gathered, displayed, organized, analyzed, and used in predictions.
All the information for the course is here on Canvas. The textbook is linked here and free digitally. If you would like a hard copy, it is available at the CLC bookstore. We will also be using Excel, free from your student portal and a graphing calculator.
