What it covers

• Material: Days 8–17 — all of trigonometry, Chapters 4 and 5.
• Format: paper-based, proctored in person; a non-CAS calculator is allowed.
• Time: two hours.
• Window: November 12 – November 18. Book your seat as soon as the window opens.

⚠ Read this before you study

Formula memorisation is required. You will not be given a formula sheet in this exam. The identities sheet above is for studying, not for the exam room.

Exception: highlighted formulas from that sheet will be supplied inside the problem statements where they are needed. You are responsible for memorising everything else.

A blank unit circle is handed out at the end of the exam. It is not graded — it is there if filling one in helps you.

How to prepare

Step 1 — Master the foundation

Work through every day page in the range this exam covers — notes, videos and homework — before you start revising.

Step 2 — Review the study guide

It tells you the scope. Anything on it can be asked; anything not on it will not be.

Step 3 — Build a one-page summary

Main concepts and formulas, one side of paper. You will not have it in the exam. Making it is the point.

Step 4 — First practice run

Take the practice exam with your summary sheet in front of you, to find out which ideas are solid and which are not.

Step 5 — Target the weak areas

Rework everything you missed, going back to the notes rather than to the answer.

Step 6 — Final run, timed and closed-book

Take the practice exam again with nothing to hand and a clock running. This is the honest measure.
